Get Homie
A small box on the console under the television, one light on

Hardware

Software you install on a Mac mini.

A Mac mini, or any Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or newer, plugged into a television. Homie does not ship a box. Every phone in the room is already a controller. The first one that joins sets the house up.

What you need

The Mac
A Mac mini, or any Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 15 or newer. The one we build on is a Mac mini. You buy the Mac. Homie is the software.
The television
Anything with HDMI. A sound bar or the TV’s own speakers. The Mac’s microphone or any USB one, if you want to talk to it.
The phones
Whatever people already have. A guest scans the square on the TV or types the house’s address. Nothing installed, nothing left behind. Native Setup on the Mac handles the house and invitation first. The phone then provides Guide, controls and owner-authorized House settings.
The AI
Claude, Codex or Grok, with that vendor’s CLI already installed and already logged in on the Mac — Claude, Codex, Grok. Homie sells no intelligence. It ships no model, resells none, and does not sign the CLI in. Without a CLI, games, watching and listening still work. Making does not.
The network
House wifi. The phones and the television are on the same LAN.

What comes next

Mac today, Raspberry Pi 5 next. Windows and Linux are planned after that. Homie does not ship hardware, a kit, or a Mac with a sticker on it.
