Get ready

  1. Get on the list. Put your email address above.
  2. On the Mac by the TV, install and sign in to Claude, Codex or Grok using that vendor’s own CLI. Homie does not install it and does not sign you in. Official pages: Claude, Codex, Grok. Making does not work without one.

From the download to the room

After an invitation:

  1. Run the download on the Mac by the TV.
  2. Follow native Setup in Homie. Return to your invitation page and choose “Already installed? Open Homie” to pass the invitation securely.
  3. Open Homie TV and scan its QR with your phone. Guests join in their browser without an app; House settings use the normal owner-pairing ceremony.

Mac today, Raspberry Pi 5 next. Windows and Linux are planned after that.

This beta is for trusted invitees. Anyone whose phone you admit, and anyone who talks to the room, is using the AI account logged in on that Mac.

Homie includes FFmpeg 9.0.1 under GPL-2.0-or-later because the film path enables libx264. Exact corresponding source, signature, build configuration, and licence notices for the macOS arm64 runtime:
