Make your own

Open beta · Getting online

Get your Homie online.

Games, phones as controllers and making with your own AI already work without this. Online gives your Homie its own secure address: share what you make, play from away, and use a phone’s mic and camera.

A phone showing Homie’s Made here shelf: Manyworlds, for 1 to 8 players, and Aurora Orchestra, for 1 to 3 players.
Homie’s own phone screen: games this house made. Online, you can give them a page on homie.rocks.

Checking setup…

One moment.

Your setup code

Getting online is not open.

Everything in the room already works without it: the games on the TV, the phones, and making with the AI you already have.

If a friend’s Homie is already online, they can send you an invitation. Its setup code goes in the place these steps show.

One check, then your code.

Get the code when your phone is ready to paste it. It works once, for one hour. No account, no email.

Your setup code

Here is your code.

Keep it to yourself until it is pasted: whoever uses it first gets the address.

That did not work.

Where it goes

On the phone that owns your Homie

  1. Open Homie on your phone and tap your initial in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap Settings. Under Get this house online, paste the code.
  3. Tap Put this house online. Homie takes its new address in a few seconds.
  4. Then tap Let phones reach Homie. The certificate takes a minute or two.

Not the owner yet? Tap your initial, then Make this phone an owner, and type the six digits the TV shows. Settings appears after that.
