Prove profitable entertainment brands

NIGHTWIRE Studio is the game business: a phone-first online multiplayer world built for many people, not a solo browser demo. Its $9 Night Pass was open on nightwirestudio.com from September 24 and was withdrawn on September 28 without a buyer; nothing is sold now, and it is not profitable. KITCHEN COURT is retired evidence, and Low Beam is a closed experiment rather than its replacement. The second business remains unchosen. Profit stays the goal, but it is a later test: the studio workflow test comes first.

Move features out of the core

Hue is the next integration to leave the operating system and become its own independently versioned package. It is the concrete proof that a new light, service or device can arrive without a new Homie release.

Find the first users

NIGHTWIRE checkpoint clips, browser play, challenge sharing, install conversion and one real outside-house download.

Make first setup work

A clean-machine install walk, first-boot measurement, release safety and a first evening that does not need its author standing nearby.

1 Prove the studio workflow on our own projects

Homie is still proving the product, not growing it. Two small, fixed jobs on existing projects come first: change NIGHTWIRE, publish it and finish one shared round on two phones; and take a Low Beam idea to an original private song or picture and a review edit, with nothing released. Somebody who did not build Homie runs both, and then the same jobs with ordinary AI apps, timing each and counting every rescue and cost. Neither has run yet.Done when: Both jobs finish without a developer stepping in, with time, failures and cost per finished job written down beside the ordinary-apps run.

2 White-label every surface

A managed operator can now submit and follow a brand request without our source, command line or cloud credentials. One validated package covers all eight production surface families, and the immutable gateway-static content lifecycle is implemented in production code and schema. Live routed launch remains closed: the current authority cannot independently read the exact SaaS wildcard, fallback and complete custom-host inventory, so the runner refuses to claim a queued job. No outside operator has launched.Done when: Two real operators run every production surface under their own brands, and independent review finds no material leak or missing journey.

3 Prove two entertainment brands can be profitable

NIGHTWIRE Studio sells nothing now: its $9 Night Pass was withdrawn on September 28 without a buyer. It keeps attributed acquisition paths and a cost ledger, and it is not profitable. KITCHEN COURT is retired evidence, not the second business. Low Beam is also closed: its radio, own-domain edge path, $6 price, settlement hook, ledger and immutable recovery bytes remain implemented evidence, but it did not earn the audience needed to become the replacement business. The second business is unchosen. Late Kettle / Somebody's Up is an unpublished, rights-gated music experiment, not a launched brand, buyer or revenue claim.Done when: NIGHTWIRE and its researched replacement each have ten unrelated buyers, positive contribution margin, then four profitable weeks in a row.

4 Get the first outside download

The first owned @HomieRocks campaign post is live. Its measured cohort currently contains one raw network, zero qualified Mac visits, zero browser plays and zero installer requests, starts or completions, so no outside download is claimed. NIGHTWIRE Play selects one compatible public room instead of isolating every visitor. The technical public-room gate now passes in production house QA: two isolated fresh bare-entry browsers joined as the only eligible players, both received advancing views, real touch controls delivered a parcel, the authoritative result settled 5–0, both private cards reached stable readable NIGHT OVER with the same winner, and lifecycle cleanup closed the room. Fresh independent criticism passed the exact receipt. Live matcher checks also excluded stale, hidden private and full rooms. This is not outside participation or demand; exposure remains zero. The trace still shows excessive private-controller remounts, so reload-free analogue control under worse latency remains reliability debt.Done when: People nobody here invited are downloading it.

5 Make shared games start reliably again

The earlier three-day gate reopened when one UTC day measured 10 failed boots in 27 plays. All ten came from a protected NIGHTWIRE paid-drop id. The ordinary public package road is repaired and the direct private play shell is closed without exposing its bytes or closing ordinary unlisted links. The first post-deploy partial window is clean at 0 failures in 20 plays, but it is not a full day; this does not become shipped again until three fresh complete UTC days are below one failure in fifty.Done when: Fewer than one shared game in fifty fails to start, three fresh UTC days running.

6 Make the first install succeed

A new Homie now reports once that it started. A clean-Mac test found and fixed the box's helper refusing every request; the next proof must come from a person outside this house.Done when: A box nobody here set up reports that it started.

Open describes their state. The order here is not a queue, and none of these carries a date.

Hue becomes a package

Lights are the first proof that integrations can ship independently from Homie. Hue should install and update on its own; adding the next brand should not require a new operating-system release.

Games that use the whole room

The lights, the camera and standing up off the couch, available to anything Homie builds — not a handful of demos that had to be wired by hand.

A shared link that keeps all of its own files

Some shared links served games with pieces missing. The repair is in; the work left is making it impossible rather than fixed.

The first stranger's install, recorded end to end

Somebody who has never seen Homie, their own Mac, their own television, nothing edited out. It cannot be made until the first item above lands.
