Make a studio Beta
Pick the Claude you already use. Each one ends the same way: you say one sentence, and it makes your studio and your first game.
The fastest way in
No terminal. One download, and the chat you are in makes the studio and shows each step as a card.
/plugin install homie --marketplace homie-rocks/homieOne line, inside a session (Claude Code 2.1.275 or later). It asks you to confirm the marketplace, then you pick a scope. From a terminal it is two commands: claude plugin marketplace add homie-rocks/homie, then claude plugin install homie@homie. Start a new session afterwards.
It opens Add custom connector with Homie filled in, and you confirm. By hand: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, with the address https://homie.rocks/mcp. Its cards set the studio up, and each build goes to Claude Code in the cloud, which needs a Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise plan.
A studio needs Node.js 22 or later on the computer it lives on.
Then
“Set up a game studio called Night Owls and make a multiplayer game.”
A checklist, ticked as it goes: the setup status, the studio, the plan, the build. The moment two browsers finish a round together you get a link to play. Then it goes on to sound, art and the playtest’s fixes, and says what it is doing. The Claude desktop app shows each step as a card in the chat.
Claude Code: Homie’s holds are on (the plugin’s mod): a deploy, a Cloudflare change, an edit to a protected file, spending past your budget and a model download each wait for your yes, in Claude Code’s own question. The desktop app: Claude asks before it uses each Homie Studio tool: choose Always allow, so a build runs without a click at every step. If a step ever sits on a spinner with nothing to click, a request is waiting out of sight: press ⌘ Return (Ctrl+Enter on Windows), or scroll the chat to find it. The Claude app: every approval is one tap on the provider’s own page, and a change goes out as a pull request that you merge.
One approval: Cloudflare opens in your browser, you sign in or make a free account, and approve. Your studio runs on your own account, on the free plan, with no payment method. Nothing is listed in the homie.rocks directory unless you ask.
